Pyre: A Unique Action-Adventure Game
Pyre is an exciting action-adventure game developed by Supergiant Games. The game takes place in a purgatory, where the protagonist, known as the Reader, is banished from society. He meets three exiles who invite him to join them to cleanse their souls.
The gameplay of Pyre is based on a sports game, called the Rites, which takes place in a parallel world. The player controls a team of three characters against three opponents on a small arena. Each team has a pyre, and the objective is to defend your pyre while attacking the enemy one by throwing the orb into it.
During a round, the Reader can switch between characters and pass the orb from one to another. Each player has a limited amount of endurance required for moving around the arena. If the players of a team come together, they create a dangerous zone for the opposing team. The player with the orb will be temporarily removed from the game if they enter this zone.
Apart from the Rites, the player can travel through the world of Pyre, train teammates, and learn more about the Rites. Pyre is a unique game that offers an exciting and engaging experience for adventure game lovers.
